The Winnipeg Jets made a big signing Today. According to Sportsnet's Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman Jets General Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has re-signed forward Mason Appleton to a brand new three year deal.
Friedman revealed the new deal is worth $6,500,000 dollars. Appleton will make $2,000,000 this season and $2,250,000 for his other two seasons.
Both sides avoid arbitration.
In 68 games with the Seattle Kraken and the Jets, Appleton had 21 points last season.
