Elliotte Friedman has revealed several of the Flyers' deadline plans ahead of March 3rd's trade deadline, and one is very questionable on Chuck Fletcher's side of things.
The New York Rangers revealed that one of their top prospects Vitali Kravstov was on the trade block, he was then acquired by the Vancouver Canucks for a SMALL PRICE of a mid-level prospect Will Lockwood and a seventh-round pick. The Rangers were in a hurry to move Kravstov to make cap space in hopes to acquire Patrick Kane, and somehow Chuck Fletcher pulled out of the deal.
Friedman also revealed that Fletcher was in on a second trade, which was Denis Gurianov, and that he had the possibility to dump James Van Riemsdyk's contract, but failed to do so, and the trade was completed after Chuck Fletcher pulled out of his second potential trade...
