It seems like a possibility, but some rumours indicated that Chuck Fletcher couldn't guarantee his return to the team next year. For the moment, Giroux has a way more important thing on his mind: winning a Stanley Cup with the Panthers.

However, Elliotte Friedman revealed an interesting information about Giroux's plan for this summer.

According to the Sportsnet insider, Giroux is doing his researches on Ottawa. It makes sense: the former Flyer (that's so weird to say) spent his junior years in the region, between 2005 and 2008 with the Gatineau Olympiques in the QMJHL.
