When the Chicago Blackhawks won their 3rd Stanley Cup in five years in 2015, nobody could've imagined one of Jonathan Toews or Patrick Kane ever leave the team.
They have been the face of the franchise for so long that it would be weird to see them with a different jersey. However, with the recent trajectory that the management took, Jonathan Toews openly spoke about leaving the team.
"For the longest time, the thought never entered my mind to leave Chicago. In this case, you can't help but picture yourself and what it'd be like to play for another team and what that experience would bring," said Toews.
With that being said, Toews is carrying a huge contract and it will be extremely difficult for Kyle Davidson to move him.
