Once the clock struck 3 PM on trade deadline day, Flyers nation realize that their general manager Chuck Fletcher only made one trade to mention when they were expecting a flurry of deals.

This has led to a firestorm of tweets on Twitter regarding the beleaguered GM's lack of activity which has led one of his defensemen Tony D'Angelo to step in and defend his general manager.
DeAngelo asked the fan whether he was on the calls during the trade deadline or was becoming an armchair general manager and making up his trades.

The fan then responded with a very long tweet regarding how the Flyers should have been highly more active in moving players like JVR and Justin Braun to get any value they can and that Chuck Fletcher was very slow on the mark to make a deal which included waiting to the last minute to move JVR to the Detroit Red Wings.
DeAngelo continued to troll other fans including stating that he should get off his couch and stay away from NHL 2023 on their Xbox.
As much as fans do not have a voice or hear what goes on in the war room of an NHL organization, watching other trades happen throughout the league and seeing the value of other players certainly makes them aware of what their team is worth.
I felt that JVR and Justin Braun should have brought back a few draft picks to recoup some of their value since some players were moved with no term left on their deals.
To say this deadline day was a disappointment is an understatement of the year.
