It's been a miserable season if you're a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, it's been even more miserable for the players aswell. The Flyers sit 7th in the Metropolitan Division and are getting ready to have a fire sale at the NHL's trade deadline.
Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher will be looking to offload almost everyone he can if it means some picks or prospects in return, says David Pagnotta of NHL radio. One player that might be hinting he wants to get moved is defenceman Tony DeAngelo.
DeAngelo signed a 2 year deal as a free agent this past summer, but seems to be sick of the losing in Philadelphia. After the Flyers most recent loss DeAngelo said this in an interview:
Must read on FlyersInsider
We've got to find ways to win more games. I don't know, what we are, One-and-10? In overtime or something stupid like that? It's 10 points there. Nine points. I don't know what the hell it is."
- Tony DeAngelo
It's clear DeAngelo, like a lot of the players on the team are sick of losing and I'm sure have their fingers are crossed to be dealt by March 3rd. But the question remains when is enough is enough and they fire Chuck Fletcher?
