Alex Bump, a Philadelphia Flyers prospect drafted in 2022, has chosen to play for Western Michigan University in the upcoming 2023-24 NCAA season.
Bump, who requested a release from the University of Vermont, displayed his skills in the USHL last season, recording 39 points in 48 games. The decision was confirmed through Bump's Instagram story, where he showcased the Broncos' logo.
The 19-year-old's move to Western Michigan aligns with the Flyers' history, as the university has produced previous players like Ronnie Attard and Wade Allison.
With his potential, Bump joins a talented Western Michigan squad alongside other NHL draftees.
