So, the Flyers can't have a winning streak.
Mike Yeo's players tried to win a second game in a row, yesterday against the Oilers. But
Leon Draisaitl, Kailer Yamamoto and
Connor McDavid each scored one goal to give their team a 3-0 win.
1. Carter Hart has been excellent. He had some tough games before his short absence, but he's back on track. Without him between the pipes, the Flyers lost could've been far worst. He conceded 3 goals in his last two games, posting a .949 save percentage.
2. That's not good. Really not good. The Flyers only won 3 games in 2022. We're March 2nd. They're the worst team in the league since January 1st, with a record of 3-15-7.

3. This 5-on-3 powerplay at the end of the first period could've change everything in this game. But the Flyers didn't scored (despite having some good opportunities), and a few shifts later, guess what? The Oilers scored on their powerplay.
Philadelphia did not put a puck in the back of the net this year with an advantage of two players on the ice.
4. It was definitely a rough night for this line, even if Laughton could've scored a shorthanded goal after a great effort in the 3rd period.
5. I mean, the Flyers had a pretty decent game. But once again, there is not enough elite talent on this team, and that's why they can't score. As simple as it gets. Chuck Fletcher told fans that this was the objective for the offseason. I hope he'll find one or two forwards that can actually put some goals on the board.
