Things are not looking good for Ryan Ellis

Well, he only played 4 games this season because of a lower-body injury, and it looks like that his season is already done, according to Philadelphia's interim head coach Mike Yeo.

GM Chuck Fletcher said the same thing during a town hall meeting with Flyers season ticket holders.

Ryan Ellis will likely have surgery and be out for the remainder of the campaign. However, he should be ready to go at the team's training camp next fall.

This season, Ellis registered 5 points in 4 games with the team. He was acquired this summer in a 3 team trade between the Nashville Predators, the Vegas Golden Knights and the Philadelphia Flyers.
