Flyers fans have sent a big message to the organization

Saying that this season was difficult for Flyers fans is an understatement. There was a lot of hope at the beginning of the campaign. The team began with six wins in their first ten games.

Since, they registered only 17 in 62 matches.

And, of course, fans weren't happy with that, and they showed it this year.

During the 2019-20 season (just before COVID), the average attendance at the Wells Fargo Center was 18,390, or 94.4% full. The year before, the Flyers had the 3rd best attendance in the league.


This season, the team dropped to 18th place in the NHL for attendance, with an average of 16,530 or 84.4% full. This is the official number, but if you were in the WFC this season, you have probably noticed that those figures were overestimated.

The organization will have to put a lot of work this summer to attract more fans in the Wells Fargo Center next year.
