Flyers goalie putting trade rumors to bed with strong performance

Monday night saw the Philadelphia Flyers move into second place in the Metro Division after defeating the St. Louis Blues 4-2 for their fourth straight win, three in a row coming on the road. Flyers goalie Carter Hart has been key for the Flyers during that stretch and an anchor in the net.
Hart dazzled once again in last night's victory earning his 12th win of the year, stopping 28 shots with a .933 save percentage. Hart has currently won three of his last four starts, stopping 76 of 83 shots with a .915 save percentage.
An impressive start was key for the Flyers and Hart in St. Louis last night, as Hart went a perfect 13 for 13 on save opportunities in the first period, which gave the Flyers a chance to grab an early lead, something that have found success in this season.

Hart has had a roller coaster past few seasons dealing with coaching changes, injuries, and trade rumors, but Hart is showing that with health and stability, he can perform at a high level like he once did during the 2019-20 season.
