Flyers hockey is just one week away!
This summer has been one of the most interesting seasons for the Flyers in recent memory. After the firing of General Manager and President of Hockey Operations, Chuck Fletcher, and the promotion of Danny Briere, along with the hiring of Keith Jones, a former Flyers player himself, the Flyers have embarked on the beginning stages of tearing down and rebuilding their franchise.
With several rookies and young talents in their minor system with the Phantoms, Flyers fans will once again enjoy watching hockey when the Rookie Series between the Flyers and the Rangers begins on September 15th and runs through September 16th.
The games will be held at the PPL Center, located in Allentown, PA, the home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. There will be several rookies on display, including Ronnie Atard, Tyson Foerster, Bobby Brink, Olle Lycksell, and many others.
Game one will take place at 7:05 PM on Friday, while Saturday night's game will start at 5:05 PM.
