After the Philadelphia Flyers fell to the Calgary Flames on New Year's Eve 4-3 as part of the five-game road trip, the Flyers will look for revenge Saturday afternoon as they welcome Calgary to the Wells Fargo Center for a matinee matchup.

The Flyers are looking to break out of their skid as they come into Saturday's matchup having lost four straight, as well as six of their past seven games. After falling to fourth in the Metro Division, head coach John Tortorella is looking to build some momentum and keep pace in the standings.
The biggest problem for the Flyers during their skid has been the inability to capitalize on the power play as well as close out games in the third period. The Flyers rank last in the league on the power play with a 10% conversion rate. In three of the past four games, the Flyers have squandered a lead in the third period and have allowed eight goals during the third period in that stretch.
During their last matchup with Calgary, the Flyers allowed three goals in the third period after having the lead the first two periods. Blake Coleman gave the Flyers trouble during their last matchup, so it is expected the Flyers will have all eyes on him as he leads the team in points with 29 on 15 goals and 14 assists.

This afternoon is particularly a special one for Flyers fans and the organization as they honor late owner and founder Ed Snider as today is marked as the Ed Snider Legacy Game. Fans will receive an Ed Snider jersey patch and Snider's daughter will be partaking in a ceremonial puck drop followed by a tribute video before the game.
Puck drop is set for 1 p.m. EST.
