The Philadelphia Flyers will be hosting their annual Flyers Alumni Game on Friday night against the Boston Bruins Alumni game as they continue to raise proceeds for Flyers charities. Thursday morning, the Flyers alumni announced who will be the head bench boss for Friday's action.
2019 Stanley Cup Champion and former Flyers coach Craig Berube will be serving as the teams head coach along with former goalie Robert Esche. Berube coached the Flyers for two years for 161 games going 75-58-28 during that span.
It's no secret how close Berube is to the Flyers organization. Both as a player and a coach, Berube has spent most of his years in Philadelphia, where he currently resides as of today. There has even been speculation that Berube could one day be the Flyers head coach, but Friday Berube will be able to once again lead the bench at the Wells Fargo Center.
