This Flyers season has been the most surprising and pleasant seen by the fan base and management in the past few years. It was a watershed moment when newly appointed general manager Danny Briere sat in front of reporters explaining that the Flyers will be in a full rebuild.

These words were not known by the Flyers organization as they continuously dove into free agency to stock up on talent rather than draft and build from within.

Fast forward to early 2024 and it appears the Flyers could be changing their course in terms of rebuilding the team as it was expressed by Briere today.
As the team continues to evaluate where it stands in terms of talent, playing and overall depth it seems that Briere is pleased with Nick Seeler and Sean Walker and potentially could re sign them next season. These two players have been linked in rumors throughout the league over the past number of months as their games continue to improve and their values continue to rise.
How many feel the Flyers will be active at the trade deadline by selling assets, it certainly cleared that the winds are changing, and the team may keep some of their talent rather than sell.
