As of late, the relationship between Ivan Provorov and the Flyers' head brass has been deteriorating. Both sides are unhappy and unsatisfied with one another.

In his 32 Thoughts podcast, Elliotte Friedman says that time may be up to mend relations between the sides.
«The thing with me with Provorov is I know they're frustrated with him and I know he's frustrated with them. I understand all that.»

With recent reports of his bad attitude to reporters and even worse attitude to his teammates and coaching staff, having a guy like that around, rocking the A on his jersey won't bode well with developing a positive culture. Especially for all the rookies coming up.
«And you know the old line, bleep (s**t) or get off the pot? I wonder if we're getting there with Provorov and Philly. Everybody here has to decide where they want to go.»

It seems as though its finally time to fish or cut bait. Provorov has 5 goals and 15 assist for 20 points in 64 games played. However, he is signed at $6,750,000 expiring in 2025-2026.
At only 25, he'll need to elevate his game before we can make a deal.
