It's no secret that the Philadelphia Flyers are stacked with young talent in developmental leagues all across the world. From Matvei Michkov to Samu Tuomaala and Yegor Zavragin, there are many Flyers prospects that carry that star potential. One Flyers prospect however, is gaining a lot of attention and was most recently compared to one of the NHL's most elite stars.
Philadelphia Flyers 2023 third round pick and 18-year-old year old center Denver Barkey has been having a stellar season in the OHL with the London Knights. Most recently, Dan Silver offered an eye-opening comparison for Barkey that would be a delight for all Flyers fans.
Being compared to a star like Brayden Point is no easy feat. In just 41 games with the Knights, Barkey has amassed 65 points on 41 goals and 24 points this season. It is eerily similar the routes that Barkey and Point have taken.

Winning back-to-back Stanley Cups and appearing in three straight Finals is unprecedented in this sport and quite frankly, the Tampa Bay Lightning don't get there without Point.
In 10 years will we be saying the same thing about Barkey?
