Once again, the Flyers lost last night, this time against the New York Rangers by a score of 4-0.

In the last two matches, Mike Yeo's players got outscored 13-2. Yikes!
Therefore, for the second time in franchise history, the Flyers registered their 40th regulation loss in a full campaign. The last time that it happened was during the 2006-2007 season, where they lost 48 games in regulation.
With eight games to go this year, it means that the team can still match this pretty sad record. They will have to lose all of their remaining games in regulation.
