Saturday night's 2-0 victory over Winnipeg was not only a massive win for the Flyers organization as the defeated one of the NHL's best clubs in the Jets, but it also saw an unheralded Flyer reach a career milestone.

Flyers right wing and nine-year NHL veteran Garnet Hathaway reached his 500th career NHL game on Saturday night. Although Hathaway isn't the most famous member of the orange and black, Hathaway's dedication to doing the "dirty work" and bringing his all to practice everyday has been something that has kept Hathaway in the league for the past decade.
Hathaway first came into the league as a twenty year old with the Calgary Flames, appearing in 14 games his rookie season. Hathaway made his way through Calgary for four years, then went off to the Washington Capitals for four years and the Boston Bruins for one season, before landing with the Flyers this offseason.
Hathaway's most impressive season came with Washington in 2021-22 where he recorded a career high in points, goals and assists as he recorded 26 points on 14 goals and 12 assists.
