Before the new season, most NHL pundits and NHL fanbases had given the Flyers an extremely low rating in terms of the team's performance and their position in the standings.
As all Flyers fans are aware, the team is currently in the midst of a rebuilding phase. It is widely expected that the team will not finish high in the standings as they continue to rebuild their core and redefine their identity.
However, this hasn't deterred the players from maintaining hope and having higher expectations. They recently unveiled their new post-game tradition, which seems a little strange but is fitting for the team this year.

Describing themselves as underdogs is certainly an understatement, given the team's current state. Nevertheless, these players are in the business of entertainment, and the fan base deserves something to look forward to.
They want to demonstrate that the team is moving forward and on the path to becoming a playoff contender once again.
The Flyers got off to a great start, winning their season opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets with a score of 4-2. This victory showcased the team's strong performance throughout all three periods, and their starting goaltender, Carter Hart, delivered an excellent performance.
The Flyers will continue their road trip, heading to Canada's capital, where they will face the Ottawa Senators in a matinee game on Saturday, October 14th. The game is scheduled for 1:00 PM Eastern Time.
