Former Flyer and current podcast host Chris Therien recently blasted the Flyers on episode 73 of his Nasty Kuckles podcast and said what most fans have all been thinking. This team's current management and corporate staff under Comcast have no idea what the hell they are doing.
Speaking about what the fans want Cote said,
"They just wanna go watch a hockey game. They don't wanna see some big giant orange mascot obstructing their view and trying to put a focus on himself."
Visibly and as you can tell by his tone and attitude, Therien is fed up.
"They just want to go watch a hockey game."

Between 1994 and 2005, Therrien spent 11 season with the Flyers and one in Lehigh. Therien was taken in round three, 47th overall of 1990 NHL Entry Draft. if anybody knows the culture and the city, he definitely does.
"Grow up, get with the picture; and the people that so work in the corporate side, they probably shouldn't be. They're not from Philadelphia. This is a unique special sports town. And you cant have people from the outside coming in here and putting their handprint on it when they have absolutely zero clue what they're doing. And those people have zero clue what they're doing."
It's been so bad this season that we have reached the point where even alumni are calling out the team. I wonder if other players have any thoughts but have kept them private.
In this episode, Chris spoke about the removal of the statues, the firing of alumni and the evolution the team from a private owner to a public corporation.
He also made claims such as the lack of physicality in the league hurting attendance as well as calling the compete level during regular season a disgrace. He also believe they purposely blew up the culture of the Flyers and much more.
The good stuff begins at around the 19:00 mark.
