For NHL fans, it will be challenging to recapture the excitement surrounding one particular name that was once the most talked-about topic, Seattle Kraken forward
Shane Wright. In addition to the perspective of hockey fans, the Seattle Kraken organization is also faced with a difficult choice.
Dave Hakstol, the head coach of the Seattle Kraken, who lead his team toplayingthe Los Angeles Kings last night, scratched him for the fifth straight game. A former head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers, Hasktol experienced some of the same problems with his young players when he was in charge of the Flyersa few years ago. Shane Wright has only played in seven of the team's 18 games so far this season, and when he did, he has received fewer than eight minutes of ice time each game, and in two of those games, just four minutes. This presents a difficult situation for the head coach.
Dave Hakstol, the head coach of the Seattle Kraken, made the following remarks on his choice to bench Wright for the fifth straight game:

''We're really aware that playing games and getting game time is really important,'' said Hakstol on Shane Wright. ''The game time that he has gotten here has been limited, but it's been really valuable.''
According to Darren Dreger of TSN and whom is aNHL Insider, a condition may be implemented in this situation that would allow Wright to play more often but not for the Kraken.
"It's very likely he's going to stay with the Kraken," said Dreger this week as per TSN.
"Now, here's an interesting sidebar to this story because there is a clause inside the agreement between the NHL and the CHL that allows junior-eligible players like Shane Wright to be loaned to the American Hockey League. Now, to qualify, Wright would have to be a healthy scratch in the NHL for five straight games. He can only be loaned once to the AHL and can only stay for a maximum of 14 days.
"So, I believe this is something that the Kraken are considering and they're also looking at loaning him to Canada for the World Juniors."
