Former Flyer and star defenseman Chris Pronger weighed in on the sudden injury to Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills. During the bills game on Monday, Hamlin collapsed on the field, and trainers players, and medical staff rushed to his aid. His heart had stopped and they managed to resuscitate him a short time later.
Pronger, suffered a similar scare in 1998 when he was hit by a shot from Dimitri Mironov while playing for the St Louis Blues causing him to collapse on the ice. Pronger alluded to the fact he was strapped up to a heart monitor and was cleared to play the next game. He offered his prayers and thoughts to the Hamlin family
