Over the years, while watching the game of hockey, I have witnessed some interesting and bizarre goals finding their way past the goalie. Whether it's a shot from Al MacInnis at his own blue line, sailing past Felix Potvin on the opposite side of the rink, or peculiar deflections, these goals never cease to amaze me.

This particular fluky goal occurred when former Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas, now playing for the Anaheim Ducks, decided to take a point shot that had some airtime, ultimately landing in the back of the net behind San Jose goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood.
The shot initially seemed harmless as it gained some altitude, but the puck was deflected by the stick of Sharks forward Mike Hoffman. The puck fluttered in midair and completely fooled Blackwood, slipping past the goal line.
This kind of goal encapsulates the season for the San Jose Sharks, which started as their worst in history. The Sharks began with a record of 0-10-1 but managed to secure two consecutive wins. The Ducks ultimately emerged victorious in the game with a final score of 4-1.
