It has been a little over a year since the the Florida Panthers relieved Joel Quenneville of his head coaching duties.

Quenneville was fired, despite a 7-0-0 start for the Panthers, following a scandal involving the Blackhawks organization that stated a player was sexually assaulted by a staff member and the organization failed to handle it appropriately.
Quenneville, who won 3 Stanley Cups in Chicago, was fired due to the report stating that, as the head coach, he failed to handle the accusation in the appropriate manner.

Well, now Quenneville has stated that he wants to get back into coaching, and some people seem to believe it is likely he will land a job in the future.
As long as everything gets passed through Gary Bettman and the Florida Panthers, then Quenneville will be able to look for jobs in the league.
It wouldn't be a surprise for him to take the reins for a team quickly after allowed back into the league, as there are plenty of coaches on the hot seat.
