Former fan favourite of the Flyers wants to be the captain of the team next year

With Claude Giroux in Florida, the Flyers don't have a captain anymore. Some people talked about Sean Couturier, Kevin Hayes, Scott Laughton or Cam Atkinson to be candidate to take the "C".
However, we'll probably have to wait until training camp next season to know who will be Claude Giroux's successor.
Yesterday on Twitter, former Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo replied to a post asking fans who will be the captain of the team next year. It seems that he sees himself as a good candidate...
Rinaldo didn't play a game in the NHL since the 2020-21 season with the Calgary Flames. He appeared in 223 games with the Flyers, registering 24 points and 572 penalty minutes during that span.
