Are we agreeing to say that the Florida Panthers are the big winners of this trade deadline? They got one of the most coveted defenseman on the market in Ben Chiarot. They also got former Flyer Robert Hagg to bolster their 3rd pairing.
But above all, they put their hands on the best forward available this year in Claude Giroux for a pretty reasonable price...
Today, the Panthers unveiled their new lines and they are absolutely scary to watch. Claude Giroux will complete the first line with Aleksander Barkov and Carter Verhaege. The second line is also very impressive with Jonathan Huberdeau, a Hart Trophy candidate, Sam Bennett and Anthony Duclair.
Anton Lundell is injured for the moment, but when he'll be back, the Panther's top 9 will arguably be the best in the league.
