On the second part of the "From the Fan's Mouth" competition. I sat down with Jessica Hess from Willow Grove, PA. She is a die-hard Flyers fan who shows extreme passion for the team. Formerly known for being on a Flyers Podcast where she dissected the games and stats. We sat down and had an excellent conversation, and she answered some big questions. Here is how it went.
If you are interested in participating in the competition, please message the Let's Go Flyers Facebook page.
FJ: "Jessica, tell me about your favorite player?"
JH: "I was a huge fan of Steve Mason. He was such an underrated goaltender. I thought that he was really hot. During his injuries, he was able to play through them and play at a high level during that playoff run."

FJ: " Last season was a tough one, what did you think about the outcome?"
JH: "I remember being so pumped for last season to start but wound up being extraordinarily disappointed by the end of it. I had very high expectations with all the big off-season signings that Chuck Fletcher was able to score.
Ryan Ellis is who immediately comes to mind. He was supposed to be THE defensive guy. He was supposed to lead
Ivan Provorov essentially to greatness, but that went down the drain as soon as his injuries came to the surface. And unfortunately, Prov needs a veteran defensive partner in order to succeed, and the hole that Matt Niskanen left when he retired has yet to be filled".
FJ: "We all have a favorite memory of the Flyers, what is yours?"
JH: " I remember going to a game in March of 2016, and it was around the time that the "Bra Lady" had become viral. You know, the elderly woman who threw her bra onto the ice instead of a hat, and she was sitting right in front of me. Ghost was a goal away from a hatty, and i was really hoping I was going to see her throw another one of her bras on their haha. and another little thing is a few weeks before THAT game, i went to a game against the Ducks and I got a fist bump from Ryan Getzlaf because I was sitting right next to the visitor's tunnel.
FJ: "Final question from me and thank you for taking the time to do this. What are your expectations for next season"
JH: "As far as the upcoming season, I've set the expectation bar very, very low because I don't want to get hurt again-haha. When Chuck Fletcher S**t the bed by snubbing Johnny Hockey, I 100% lost my faith in the Flyers front office. Don't get me started on that though, unless you want to talk for hours. Sadly, this is the first time in a long time that I haven't been excited for hockey season to start."
