Gigantic news for Owen Tippett

As you all know, Owen Tippett is a new member of the Philadelphia Flyers. He was acquired yesterday in the Claude Giroux trade. Before the deal, Tippett was in the AHL with the Charlotte Checkers, but the Flyers did recall him for today's game against the Islanders.

Tippett will obviously play so it'll be interesting to see how Mike Yeo will use him. The right winger never really had the chance to prove himself with the Panthers so he is certainly very excited for this opportunity.

Also, he will wear #74 with the Flyers...
