Chuck Fletcher and Owen Tippett reacted for the first time to the Claude Giroux trade

Fans are obviously not happy with what the Flyers got for Claude Giroux. But, what's done is done. Can't go back anymore.
We were waiting for Flyers GM Chuck Fletcher first reactions to the trade he made at the end of the afternoon, and we got them this evening.
Here is what Chuck Fletcher had to say :
"Any day that you trade your captain is a tough day, and with how much Claude has meant to this organization and how he has represented himself for 15 years, makes it all that more difficult to say goodbye. Claude is one of the best players to ever wear a Flyer uniform (...) We're very excited to have Owen join our team. He is a young forward who already has NHL experience and will bring power, speed and skill to our group. He is someone we expect to fit into our lineup immediately," said Chuck Fletcher.
In the case of Tippett, the forward said that he was very excited to join a new team.
"I'm really excited for this new opportunity to join a team, build with them and get a fresh start (...) I'm still working on trying to round out my 200-foot game, but overall I think I can bring offense, size and speed to the lineup. I'm really excited to get going and meet everyone," said Owen Tippett.
