Hockey fights are a dwindling spectacle in the sport, as the NHL and junior leagues aim to phase them out. They hope to shift the focus to skill and scoring over brawn and fists.

Yet, in some minor leagues like the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, the fighting spirit lives on. Recently, during a game between the Flin Flon Bombers and the Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers, two goaltenders, Kenneth Marquardt and Logan Faulk, decided to drop their gloves and have it out.
The showdown was swift. Marquardt's first punch hit Faulk's face, and both tumbled to the ice. They quickly got back up, and Marquardt amped up the crowd by throwing his arms around as he skated off the ice.
Thankfully, no one got hurt, but the crowd sure got their adrenaline rush.
