Some people are extremely disappointed with the return Chuck Fletcher got for his former captain Claude Giroux. That feels weird to say. However, let's wait a little bit before jumping into conclusions.
Owen Tippett is still young and never really got the chance to prove himself in the NHL. Don't forget that he's a point per game player in the AHL. With more ice-time at the NHL level, his production could pick up.
Again, let's go back the assets that Fletcher acquired yesterday. He obviously really wanted that first round pick. With that being said, the Panthers made sure to not overpay to obtain Giroux, and to be fair, they did a good job.
