The next draft is going to be extremely important for the Philadelphia Flyers. Of course, they seem to have built a nice little prospect pool. We can think of York, Frost, Brink, Andrae, Desnoyers or Foerster, the most recent first round pick of the team.

However, there's no player in this pool that has the potential to become an elite player in the big league.
Bobby Brink, Morgan Frost, Tyson Foerster have top 6 potential with a production projected at 50 points. Cam York and Emil Andrae have certainly the tools to become top 4 players on defence. But nothing more.

Because, when you think about it, Giroux is going to have 35 next year (even if he's moved at the deadline, I think he'll resign with the Flyers this summer), Kevin Hayes and Sean Couturier, who have medical problems, will be 30 years old next season. The three only young players on which you can count on are Joel Farabee, Ivan Provorov and Carter Hart.
Maybe Travis Konecny too ? Maybe, but there are rumours that indicates that he could move this summer...
For your information, I didn't mention next year draft because the organization's goal is to make the playoffs in 2022-23. But Chuck Fletcher and his scouts will have to do a great job to find one or two 70+ points player and/or a D-man with a top 2 potential.
For this year, you can think that Juraj Slafkovsky, Shane Wright, Matthew Savoie and Logan Colley all have this potential. On defense, a guy like Simon Nemec could be a future top 2.
The Flyers are at a crossroads.
