Horrible news for one of the best Flyers' prospects

That's too bad.

Emil Andrae, who was the Flyers' second round pick in 2020, was absolutely tearing up the HockeyAllsvenskan with HV71. He broke all the possible records for a defenseman his age, as he registered 33 points in 41 games this season. He was even better during the playoffs, as he scored 11 points in 10 games.

However, his season is now over as his team was battling for promotion to the SHL. Yesterday, Andrae injured himself during Game 1 of the finals. It's a fracture to his lower arm or hand but we don't know the exact nature of the injury.




Of course, it's sad news for him as he was battling for the playoffs MVP award. At least, he's going to be 100% ready next season. He can be proud as he's had a great year.
