How the mighty have fallen ... Flyers Nation smiles
Tonight's results between the Boston Bruins and the Florida Panthers were not supposed to happen. All Bruins fans expected their team to be the winner of this series and move on to the second round to meet the Toronto Maple Leafs to try to knock them out once again.
Having a 3-1 Series lead, fans all expected this to be over last week when the Bruins went home to finish them off. It included the best record in NHL history for any franchise. They lost four times at home all season. This was not the case.
Interestingly, three weeks before tonight's game, the Bruins were in the final home game against the Flyers, and all Bruins Fans present were yelling «We want the Cup.»

The Panthers and Flyers fanbases certainly can have the last laugh tonight as this debacle while it unfolded on national television.
There are many questions surrounding the Bruins this offseason, as this was not supposed to be the case. They were supposed to go to the cup final and take the crown.
Nope, Better luck next year.
