As the March 3rd trade deadline draws closer, trade rumors continue to intensify and one such rumor is doing that. Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov recently has been linked to stories of dissatisfaction between the organization and himself the organization is trying to find him a new home.

The Los Angeles Kings are the front runners to these rumors and over the past number of years they have stockpiled themselves with draft picks and prospects, they are certainly a team that could become trading partners with the Flyers.
Provorov drafted first round 7th pick overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, would be enticing for the kings to build around as he is only 26 and as most NHL fans know, defensemen tend to blossom later in their careers. He currently carries a cap hit of $6.75 million and is signed till 2024-2025.
Would the Kings be willing to give up players like Quinton Byfield, Gabriel Vilardi, or even Sean Durzi for Provorov? Along with a first or second round which the Kings have for the next three years? It is hard to say, however, I do believe both organizations have a personal stake in making a deal with one another.
