Yes, he is the Phantom's new dog, and certainly will bring lots of love to the players as their season winds on. Jax is owned by assistant equipment manager Jake Rogers. Jax has already won the hearts of many fans on social media, along with coaches and players.

He will be spending much time at the rink along with traveling on the road with his owner.

There is something to be said about the love of a dog and what they can do for people. As this is not the first dog in the AHL, Jax is the first one for The Phantoms and I expect many videos and stories to come with this pooch.
