With the NHL draft behind general manager Danny Briere, it's safe to say that he did a great job in his first draft as a full-time manager. Using his 7th pick, he landed Matvei Michkov from Russia, who was passed by six other teams for a variety of reasons, including the regional conflict his home country is having with Ukraine.

While he was in America, he embraced American culture, especially American sports culture, as he tweeted out a picture of himself along the riverbank, completely decked out in Brooklyn Nets swag. It's safe to say that he thoroughly enjoyed his time in America, and Flyers fans hope that his stay in Russia could be cut short so that he can head over to the United States to begin his career with the Flyers.
The 18-year-old right winger stands at 5'10" and weighs 172 pounds. According to eliteprospects.com, he is a rare triple-threat winger, possessing immense creativity with the puck, fantastic speed, and an all-around amazing hockey IQ.

When he finally arrives, he will bring a new level of raw talent to the Flyers lineup, which could happen in three years as he currently has a contract with the KHL.
If Briere decides to keep TK along with Cutter Gauthier coming up through the ranks, and now Michkov, the Flyers will have a pretty dominant right side on their forward lines.
It's safe to say that the Flyers are certainly not done changing their lineup as they are in the midst of their rebuilding phase.
