Now apart of the flyers staff due to injuries on ice, an old Morin fight is going viral again
Due to injuries, Samuel Morin had to retire from hockey and is now working for the Philadelphia Flyers in the player development department, along with Chris Stewart, another former Flyer from the organization.
As you can see on YouTube, Morin was a towering defenseman who was unafraid to drop the gloves when the situation demanded it.
There was one fight we found extremely exhilarating, and that was during a bench brawl; Samuel Morin challenged Mike Aviani to a tilt, and Aviani obliged Morin.
When Morin grabbed Aviani's collar by the collar, he punched Aviani repeatedly, causing Aviani to fall down on the ice as Morin followed up by rag-dolling the AHLer.
I could not believe how exciting that tilt was!
