It Seems as If The Flyers May Be Shipping This Defensemen Far Away From Philadelphia
Justin Braun has been the odd man out a few times this season and hasn't appeared in a game since January 2nd against the Anaheim Ducks. Last week, Tortorella stated that he felt bad about not being able to play Braun more often, but he wants to stay with the same productive group lineup that has been playing great hockey.
Tortorella went on to say that he doesn't want Braun to sit for too long but doesn't plan on tinkering with the defensive combinations.
Given Braun's age, lack of offensive production, and Tortorella sticking to the current lineup and defensive pairings that have been effective, Justin Braun may be the odd man out and request a trade. Braun could add some valuable depth to a contender chasing after Lord Stanley.
