The Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher has made it clear that he's open for business when it comes to making trades ahead of March 3rd's NHL trade deadline.

One of the Flyers Fletcher has been receiving calls for is Flyers forward James Van Riemsdyk. In 30 games this season, Van Riemsdyk has 8 goals and 13 assists and is a pending UFA this summer.

The Colorado Avalanche:
Must read on FlyersInsider
The Avalanche are looking to add the right pieces to repeat as champions adding, JVR wouldn't hurt their chances of repeating if the Flyers could retain salary.
The New York Rangers:
They are looking to take that next step after a trip to the Eastern Conference finals last season and look to go all the way this year.
The Washington Capitals:
The Capitals are in the middle of the pack and our looking at adding pieces to get into the playoffs, Van Riemsdyk could be a nice fit.
The Winnipeg Jets:
The Jets are believed to be Canada's best shot at a Stanley Cup, having the most complete roster amongst Canadian teams. Van Riemsdyk could fit in on the Jets bottom six no problem.
The Dallas Stars:
The Stars are looking scary with the roster they have, they don't get the attention as other teams but they definitely could be a Stanley Cup sleeper.
These teams have been recommended by the Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, an NHL analyst.
