Joel Farabee underwent surgery in mid June for a disc replacement in cervical region. This was an off-season injury, which makes things even more tough to swallow. Farabee has missed 19 games because on an unrelated shoulder injury.
The leadership in him showed when he came back to play with determination and was ready to contribute. A true warrior.
Three weeks before camp starts, and Joel Farabee is already arrived at the Flyers Training Facility. Alongside a few of his teammates- Scott Laughton being one of them, who looks to have a bigger role and lead his team more proficiently.

A set time of October is when Farabee is expected to come back, but seeing how he is already participating- will he be back early? Never a good thing to rush one of your key players and they shouldn't.
That's being said, this is a good sign as Farabee is a bright spot in the Flyer's starting roster.
