John Tortorella Makes a Questionable Decision in Tonight's Starting Goaltender
The Philadelphia Flyers organization and fan base has been surprised as of late due to the recalling of goaltender Samuel Ersson, he is a 23-year old Swedish goaltender who has spent the season with the Leigh Valley Phantoms after being cut from the Flyers training camp roster.
Ersson has now put the Flyers on his back for his first career shutout which was earned two days ago against the Buffalo Sabres, when he stopped 28/28 shots o net.
Ersson has now won 4/4 of his last game, posting up numbers the Flyers have yet to see from goaltender Carter Hart. Despite Ersson's recent success, he'll be taken off the hot seat tonight as John Tortorella shakes his head, and also reveals the Flyers starting goaltender in the interview, as seen below:
