As the season goes on Head Coach John Tortorella continues to teach and instill his vision of how NHL hockey needs to be played. In front of their home crowd tonight the Flyers played one of their better games recently in a 5-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Torts explained at the end-game presser with the media how he feels this team has progressed and how he views their development even though they faced much adversity throughout the season thus far.
He elaborates the fact sending Cam York down to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms was a success and now the Flyers are starting to see that move has paid off. Torts feels that this team can continue to build consistency in their game and hopes for a few more victories.
