The Philadelphia Flyers have added another former TV personality to their NHL front-office pipeline with the hiring of Patrick Sharp.
Sharp started his NHL career with the Flyers after being drafted by them, and now he has come full circle by returning to the team.
Keith Jones on Patrick Sharp:
"Patrick knows what it takes to win, he understands how to convey that to our players and is a relationship maker. He will be a vital component as we continue to build the foundation of the Philadelphia Flyers.»

Keith Jones, who made the hiring decision, praised Sharp's ability to win, having won 3 Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks dynasty. Jones believes that Sharp is the right person to help build a winning team in Philadelphia.
Sharp was initially sent to the Blackhawks in 2005, along with Eric Meloche and Matt Ellison and a 3rd round pick in 2006.
He played 66 games with the Flyers and won a Calder Cup in 2005 with the Phantoms.
Interestingly, Sharp's first cup win was against the Flyers in 2010, the same team that Danny Briere was a part of.
