With the Flyer in the midst of a god awful season, the omission of Keith Yandle from the teams lineup this past weekend was the last straw for many fans. Yandle's iron man streak ended at 989 games just shy of 1000. On one hand, you want to play the young guys for experience but on the other, you want to breed a positive locker room environment and culture.

"He's just cooked."

In their Flyerbole's podcast, the topic of Yandle's subpar play this season arose giving the hosts an opportunity at giving their two cents.

"He's has barely been a Flyer. He's been a Flyer for half a terrible season and he's been god awful in that time."

They also spoke about his time on the powerplay and his subpar performances throughout the year. But especially on special teams.
"I feel like Keith Yandle has been on the ice for at minimum ten sort handed goals.. Just this season I feel like I've seen so many short handed opportunities and short handed goals where Keith Yandle is just lagging behind flailing at the puck."

This season alone, Keith Yandle but also JVR have been on the ice for seven short handed goals. Konecny has been on the ice for six and Ristolainen has only been there for two.
"He's also in the cooked league. Guy doesn't play defence and if he's not scoring he ain't doing s**t"

If that isn't what cooked means, we are a lost cause.
