Laine agrees to a huge 4-year extension with Columbus

Finnish superstar Patrik Laine has according to multiple sources signed a 4-year, $8.7 million AAV to stay in Columbus, Ohio.
With the recent signing of Johnny Gaudreau, Laine may have been tempted at the opportunity to play with one of the best playmaking wingers in the league.

The contract which runs through the 2025-2026 season buys the Jackets one year of RFA status and three UFA.

Last year, Laine had 26 goals and 30 assists for 56 points in 56 games.
