Leafs Player Forced To Leave Practice After Being Traded

The Toronto Maple Leafs were practicing Tuesday afternoon when Leafs defenceman Ramus Sandin was told to leave the ice.
Sandin obviously didn't know what was going on because there was zero news or rumors of him being traded.
However that was the reason Sandin left, he was traded to the Washington Capitals for former Flyers defenceman Erik Gustaffsson and a 2023 1st round.
Sandin was one of the Leafs better defenceman but the Leafs decided to go with others others they acquired in trade this weekend and Luke Schenn today. Sandin got to say goodbye to his former teammates before heading to Washington.
