It appears that Flyers prospect Matvei Michkov is currently battling an illness that has kept him out for a second straight game.
According to his new team in Sochi, he has been feeling unwell for the past few days and has decided to sit out this game. Since his move to Sochi, he has played twelve games in the KHL regular season and has scored 12 points, including five goals and seven assists.

His performance has certainly improved since the change of teams, which is good news for the Flyers as he continues to develop. They hope he will join the team within the next three years after his contract expires with the KHL.
Meanwhile, the Flyers will be in Ottawa this afternoon for a matinee game starting at 1:00 PM Eastern Time.
