Yesterday was a special day in Canada, they celebrated "Hockey Day In Canada." Although to be fair everyday is hockey day in Canada.
Speaking of Canada, one of the greatest players to ever rock the mapleleaf on the front of his jersey and the best player in the NHL Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers were in Vancouver to face the Canucks.
Early into the first period Zach Hyman would give McDavid a breakaway opportunity on Canucks Spencer Martin, McDavid would snipe it past Martin to become the first player to reach 40 goals this season in just 48 games!
